Module 8: Placement Controls
Getting placements wrong is one of the most common causes of spam and fake leads.
Correct Placement Settings
In each ad set, only these placements should be active:

Facebook Feed
✓
Instagram Feed
Everything else should be OFF:
In-stream, Search, Apps/Sites, Audience Network, Threads, and any others
How to Verify Placements on a Running Campaign
- Select the campaign
- Click Filter by selection only
- Click Breakdown > Placement
- If you see leads from Audience Network, in-stream, or app placements, your placements are wrong
If Placements Are Wrong
You cannot simply change placement settings on a live campaign and fix the problem. You must pause the campaign and rebuild from your template.
