Module 7: Understanding Your Creatives
Know what's in your campaigns and how to identify what's working.
What's in Your Campaigns
Each ad set contains approximately 31-32 ads:
- 17 standard avatar/video creatives — various seller types (inherited, divorce, landlord, repairs, foreclosure, general)
- 8 feed objection videos — among the highest-converting creatives. Critical.
- 7 images
All creative types are mixed together in every ad set. Facebook decides which to show to which audience.
How to Check Which Creatives Are Winning
- Select your campaign
- Go to the Ads tab
- Click Breakdown > Dynamic Creative > Image/Video
- See which specific creatives are generating leads
Common patterns:
- Videos tend to outperform images
- Casual, raw phone-style recordings often outperform polished content
- Bright, attention-grabbing images (yellow houses, unusual properties) perform well
- Feed objection videos consistently rank among the top performers
The Ecosystem Effect
Even creatives with zero direct conversions contribute to results. A prospect might see one ad today and convert on a different ad tomorrow. Do not shut off creatives that appear to have no direct conversions — they contribute through exposure.
Do Not Remove Creatives from Running Campaigns
If a campaign is producing leads, do not remove individual ads. Facebook may still test them, and removing ads counts as an edit that can disrupt performance.
