Module 10: Scaling Your Campaigns
How to grow volume without disrupting what's already working.
The Right Way to Scale
✗
Do not raise the budget on a winning campaign. Facebook reorganizes its bidding when you change the budget, which can kill performance.
✓
Duplicate the winner and set the desired budget on the duplicate.
✓
Add new campaigns alongside existing ones — don't consolidate into fewer, bigger campaigns.
Budget Scaling Examples
Starting
2 campaigns at $15-$20/day ($30-$40/day total)
Scale
3-4 campaigns at $15-$25/day ($50-$75/day total)
Advanced
Mix of budgets across multiple campaigns ($12.50, $17.50, $22.50, $25)
Testing Different Configurations
The three levers of Facebook ad performance:
1
Geography
Zip codes, cities, counties, states, nationwide
2
Creatives
Images, videos, avatar videos, feed objection videos
3
Collection
Lead form (with/without OTP), landing page
When something isn't working, change only one lever at a time so you can identify what caused the change.
The 250 Active Ads Limit
Facebook limits you to approximately 250 active ads per account. Each campaign with two ad sets uses about 62-64 active ads. This means you can run roughly 3-4 campaigns before hitting the limit.
To free up space: Pause ad sets that Facebook has abandoned (zero impressions over 1-2 weeks). This frees up 31-32 ad slots per paused ad set.
