2026-07-08Guide launched. All 50 states, each checked against the official statute text, with a direct link to the source law on every state page.
2026-07-08Oregon corrected: larger multifamily is covered. The law keys on residential zoning, not unit count, so a residential-zoned fourplex or bigger is in scope.
2026-07-08Connecticut rewritten against the actual statute. It is a registration and disclosure regime (a state disclosure form is required from October 1, 2026). Earlier wording described a bill that did not become law.
2026-07-08Ohio updated: the mandatory disclosure form and the both-parties-must-sign rule are already in force under SB 155, not pending.
2026-07-08Kentucky clarified: a sales-associate license under a supervising broker is enough to advertise a contract. You do not need a full broker license.
2026-07-08Alabama corrected: the only wholesaling law on the books is the SB 228 disclosure law. A separate licensing bill was never enacted.
2026-07-08Missouri flagged: SB 973 passed the legislature but is not yet confirmed signed by the Governor. Treat it as the law that is coming and re-check before you rely on the date.
